Two weeks ago, the water had almost disappeared along the beaches of Punta del Este, Uruguay, baffling residents and officials. Now, a powerful Atlantic storm with giant waves is currently flooding the coastal streets of the city.
South America is currently experiencing weird tide anomalies. Within the last 2 weeks, the
water receded dramatically several times in Brazil and Uruguay.

Now, Punta del Este in Uruguay, where this still unexplained water ‘disappearance’ occurred, is being flooded by giant waves crashing on the beach and the protecting walls around the city.
The Atlantic storm is so powerful that sea foam is taking over the beaches and coastal streets.
